Fortress Roofing had its humble beginnings in the home of Amorel and Nicole Lerner, who decided to start the company only a few months after they got married. Amorel had been a Calgary roofer for around 5 years and was eager to start a venture of his own. Nicole had a true entrepreneurial spirit and solid administrative experience. Together, Amorel and Nicole had both the technical skills and business sense required to move forward with their dream.

In the planning stages, Amorel and Nicole talked in length about what they saw the Calgary Roofing industry lacking and what they felt home owners were looking for in a local company. From there they set out to build a business centered on honesty, quality, integrity and true customer service. While other Calgary Roofing Contractors were advertising these things – Amorel and Nicole saw that the industry as a whole was under-delivering on these promises. They set out to build a Calgary Roofing Company that actually provided the level of quality that they themselves would want when spending their own hard earned money. This meant hiring only the best Calgary roofers, providing hands on training and being willing to go back and personally inspect completed jobs and repair any mistakes that could occur.

These foundational principles have been important to Amorel, Nicole and every member of their team since the very beginning. With quality and professionalism as the foundation, Fortress Roofing Calgary has grown steadily over the years and continues to provide excellent service to each and every customer they serve.

In 2008, ‘Fortress Roofing Calgary’ became ‘Fortress Roofing & Exteriors Calgary’, expanding our services to include vinyl siding, Hardie siding, wood siding, continuous eaves trough, fascia, soffit and metal cladding. We are proud to offer combined service discounts to customers looking to have more than just their roof completed. Our available products range from budget conscious entry-level selections to high-end lifetime products – all installed with the same level of quality and attention to detail.

Since 2001 Fortress Roofing & Exteriors has experienced continuous growth, having become a roofing and siding contractor that Calgary has chosen to trust. Still clinging to the principles that they were established on, Amorel and Nicole are always looking to find new and innovative ways to ensure all aspects of each project are handled professionally from start to finish.
